This is the live telemetry tab for Proteus (v18), the vol-scaled adaptive shield — the engine running in production. It runs two paper accounts on baskets frozen on 2026-09-02: MAJORS (BTC/ETH/BNB/SOL/XRP) and ALTS (ATH/SUI/XMR/DOGE/LINK). Aegis (v14), the fixed-threshold predecessor, is shown alongside it for an honest, side-by-side comparison.
Where Aegis (v14) uses fixed thresholds, Proteus (v18) scales its drawdown trigger by each basket's own recent volatility and re-enters fast after a sharp bounce, so a single configuration self-tunes to both a calm large-cap basket and a wild alt basket. Each account carries its full backtest history and continues live from the freeze day, with one point appended after every daily close.
Simulated results — no real money. Every figure on this page comes from backtests and from a paper-trading log: a simulation that runs against live market data with virtual capital. No client funds were ever invested, no orders were ever placed, and the numbers exclude slippage, spreads and taxes, but do include a simulated 0.1% exchange fee on every rebalance, DCA buy and redeployment — charged to the Buy & Hold benchmark on the same basis. Simulated and past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results. AQMath is software, not investment advice, and does not manage money on your behalf.
Headline figures from replaying each basket across its entire common price history on the Proteus (v18) vol-scaled adaptive shield, with the weights frozen on 2026-09-02. The terms are identical to the production log: a $1,000 start plus $100 every 30 days, with a simulated 0.1% fee charged to the shield and to the Buy & Hold benchmark alike. The shield is built to cut the deep drawdowns, not to beat Buy & Hold on absolute return — across both replays it roughly halves the worst peak-to-trough loss while improving the risk-adjusted numbers.
Each replay stops where that basket's common price history ends, which is before the freeze day; the live forward log below continues from the freeze and appends one point after every daily close. Read honestly: on MAJORS the shield finished below Buy & Hold in absolute dollars ($42,134 vs $80,285) but with less than half the drawdown and the better risk-adjusted return; on the shorter ALTS window — a falling market — both lost money and the shield gave up far less ($3,040 vs $2,241). Proteus (v18) is the live production engine; Aegis (v14) is its fixed-threshold predecessor, retained as a warm-up fallback.
